Dream no more and celebrate a traditional American White Christmas.
Our Winter wonderland adventure begins in the bright lights of LAS VEGAS, before making our way through Arizona to the small southern town, once known as 'Little Hollywood' KANAB, Utah. Foward ho... to the famous, stunning western movie location of MONUMENT VALLEY on the Navajo Nation Reservation. From here we head to the home base of our Christmas experience, the old west town of DURANGO, in the ROCKY MOUNTAINS of COLORADO. It is named one of the Top 10 Christmas towns in America. Our exciting itinerary of activities include a snowcat adventure, horse drawn sleigh ride, snow-mobiling, and a breathtaking scenic steam train ride to Cascade Canyon on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. There’s more to this trip than warm open log fires, tinsel and snow though. Visit the ancient Indian Cliff Dwellings of MESA VERDE, one of the most notable and best-preserved archeological sites in the North American Continent. After the festivities of Christmas are over… and we continue on, we'll visit the '4 Corners'... and a mystery destination. The ROUTE 66 town of WILLIAMS Arizona is where we'll spend New Year's Eve, and tour the Wildlife Park 'Bearizona'. One last border crossing, and one more night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Then fly back home to Sydney, Australia and the heat of Summer.
